For a hockey guy I guess it would be natural to fly to a tournament to see what the guy you signed first hand has. So far from what we have heard he has been pretty vanilla.

I'm looking for the next Chris Drury... I'm looking for Patrick Sharp!!!



Here's a question for everyone out there; what would Buffalo have to give up to land P. Sharp? Stafford, Foligno, Adam, and Enroth?

This guy can play both wings and center. You can certainly go out and get him while keeping Van and Pommer in the process.

I say go get Patrick Sharp!!!

Agreed. And after more thought on this, I doubt Regier would make a snap judgement on a guy after seeing him for a few games. I think if they feel he has a decent shot at making this team, then they do not bring in another pivot. If Grigs makes it, he needs to play at least 3rd line minutes. Can't bury him on the 4th line with a bunch of cement heads.

Patrick Sharp is as much of a center as Hecht is a center. If he was good at it the Hawks wouldnt be looking for a second line center/trying Kane there. I like the player but just not for the top line center position.
